Austin is passionate about helping adults of all ages find ways to navigate life’s difficulties in new ways. He seeks to encourage and validate others in their journey to re-parent themselves, live more authentically, let go of shame, meet recovery goals, and learn to manage emotions that feel unmanageable. Austin approaches therapy as a tool to restore hope to those who feel hopeless and to champion victories for self-driven growth. He is committed to values of diversity, inclusion, and social justice.
Austin is a graduate of Hendrix College. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, he enrolled in University of Arkansas at Little Rock to obtain his Master’s of Social Work Degree in 2018. Austin is trained in a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches that can be tailored to individual needs/preferences. He is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based Perspectives to help guide clients on ways to improve their quality of life.
In his spare time, Austin enjoys sampling locally owned restaurants, drinking coffee, taking care of his two cats (Arnold and Jacob), playing video games on his Switch, being outside, riding his bike, and trying new things.
