Fatimaah Carmichael-Anthony strives to ensure that collaborative partnerships are developed with clients by encouraging a judgement-free and empowering clinical setting. Fatimaah Carmichael-Anthony works with clients to confront presented concerns such as stress management, depression, anxiety, and other life challenges. She strives to ensure that clients are empowered to work to enhance their lives and create supportive internal and external networks that provide greater overall balance. Fatimaah Carmichael-Anthony utilizes techniques that are strength-based and focused on cognitive-behavioral therapy and emotion-focused therapeutic strategies. Integrating these techniques into her approach creates an opportunity to gain clarity and achieve wholistic life goals.
Fatimaah holds a Doctorate and master’s degree in social work from Capella University and Howard University. She is trained to treat PTSD and trauma related issues through the use of Cognitive Processing Therapy. She has a specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression and Cognitive Processing therapy, which allows her to provide integrative interventions to address adjustment concerns over the life-course.
In her spare time, Fatimaah enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and baking.
