Gabriela is passionate about helping women and families of color who are recovering and healing from racialized and childhood trauma. Her kind, compassionate, and integrative approach in supporting whole family systems, puts adults and children at ease. She supports clients while they work through difficult feelings and challenging ways of coping to discover their own healing and resilience.
Gabriela is proud to have received her MS in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy from from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. She has also received several years of education and training in Mind Body Medicine from Saybrook University in the Integrative Mental Health Program. She is trained to work with children and adults recovering from trauma through the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and integrative mind-body-spirit modalities. She utilizes play and experiential techniques to support clients through their own therapeutic process.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves playing golf, traveling, and discovering new nature getaways.
