Hello, I’m a clinical social worker and have many years of experience working with adults. My go-to therapy is acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Here’s a quote I turn to often from ACT and it embodies my philosophy: “In this very moment, will you accept the sad and sweet, hold lightly stories about what is possible, and be the author of a life that has meaning and purpose for you, turning in kindness back to that life when you find yourself moving away from it?”

I have a Masters in Social Work from UALR. My clinical experience was at the Veterans Administration working with veterans with severe mental illnesses. When COVID came along, I helped out anywhere I was needed in mental health services which gave me a broad range of experiences.

For fun, I recently joined Central Arkansas Master Naturalists and spend as much time as I can chasing the wild asparagus.
